Michael Deragon was raised in a small town in New Hampshire and spent his youthful days running in forests, swimming in any water he could find and playing as much make believe as he could. Being an only child and spending most of his time alone he delved into books, the radio, building odd things, chasing balls, writing and drawing.
Michael Deragon is a composer, visual artist and writing working in film/theatre, gallery installations, bands and collage/paintings. He creates his film scores using a collage technique involving electronic experimental sounds, organic live instruments/melodies, field recordings, found sounds and children's toys.
