What are y’all’s opinions on Needful Things? Discussion. I just finished Needful Things, and while I think it had a strong beginning and a great ending, I feel like it may have been harmed a little by its length. Unlike many of SK’s longer novels I found myself getting a little bored or losing steam in Act 2 of the book.
