Dec 19, 2006 · Sleeper Cell by Paul Haslinger is in my opinion one of the best score ever composed, but also one of the best disc ever produced with this album. This is by far the best Haslinger's masterpiece and this is a one-of-a-kind score, mixing several musical scenes into one mind-blowing album, oriental influenced and damn original and addictive!

As I see it, the general problem with most action scores today is that they are ‘too nice’, trying to stay out of the way of sound effects; playing around the action rather then representing it. This is the reason why needledrops (songs) have been used for the most impressive action/music moments in recent films.
