But after meeting an aspiring Illinois politician named Raja Krishnamoorthi at a 2010 event for U.S. Senator Richard Durbin (D–IL), physicist Siva Sivananthan knew he had found the right person to be president of Sivananthan Laboratories. Krishnamoorthi is a Harvard University–trained lawyer, not an academic.
