  2. May 2, 2010 · In the 1880s and 1890s the cricket pavilion, outdoor rink and toboggan run were added, along with a second wing to the main house. When the government finally decided to make Rideau Hall the permanent official residence, renovations consistent with that commitment were undertaken.
