In October 2021, Sequoia announced the Sequoia Capital Fund, a new fund structure for its U.S. and European business. The fund structure is unique for VC funds as they are typically funds with a 10-year fund cycle instead of an open-ended evergreen fund.
In 2021 we announced a unique structure, the Sequoia Capital Fund, which allows us to continue working with our companies long after they go public. It means our partnerships do not have expiration dates, and can be as enduring as the companies we work with. This fund structure only applies to Sequoia Capital, our venture business.
