A.A. Grillo 24-Jan-2021 Sicilian is one of the many Romance Languages that evolved from Latin, the language of the Roman Empire. To say, however, only that Sicilian evolved from Latin unduly simplifies its history and development. I have tried here to relate the complexity as well as a rough timeline of its development, which adds to its richness.
