Nov 7, 2020 · 1,2,2. DESCRIPTION: The White Rhinoceros Exhibit at Silesian Zoological Garden was built in 2019 and replaced a former highland cattle and guanaco exhibit. The old white rhino holding no longer met the requirements of modern animal husbandry and presentation.
It covers over 47.6 ha within the Silesian Park. The Silesian zoo is a home for about 2,500 animals of 300 species. It is visited by over 390,000 people annually.
Jul 2016 • Family. We, a family of 3 with a 4 yr old spent a few hours in the Zoo. The admittance fee was 30pln (about 9 euro). There are plenty of animals, incl brown bears, bison, lions, hippo, rhino etc. Plenty of reptiles and spiders in the reptile house.
