Brennan, Booth, Hodgins, and Angela are trapped inside the Jefforsonain when a massive bomb explosion, set by Kovak and his partner, occurs (of course everyone else gets out of the building in time, but whatever). After the bomb goes off, it is quickly revealed that all four characters survive, although Brennan seems to have some brain damage.
