Synopsis. Late one night, real estate agent E. V. "Marsh" Marshall is meeting secretly with his married lover, Paulie Nevins, at a park when they overhear three men discuss robbing a nearby house of $350,000 worth of jewelry when its occupants go on vacation in a few days.
