Upplandsmuseet, in an 18th-century watermill, houses county collections of folk art, music and the history of Uppsala from the Middle Ages onwards, as well as more modern displays. (Temporary installations have included photographs from the life of author Astrid Lindgren.)

The museum is housed in an old mill from the 1760s, located on Kvarnholmen on the Fyrisån river, in the central part of Uppsala. The museum is temporarily closed. The museum reopen in the Autumn 2024 with a new, large exhibition about the history of Uppland.
