Oct 8, 2019 · During the reign of Kiev Prince Vladimir Svyatoslavich (978-1015гг) in 988, the first Russian coins – silver and gold, which were minted respectively of silver and gold. On the obverse of these coins depicts a Prince seated on a throne, while the reverse depicts Jesus Christ as Byzantine solidi.
After Koza pillaged the region, Vladimir and Oleg Svyatoslavich departed from Putivl and Rylsk. [1] In 1192, Svyatoslav Vsevolodovich sent his three sons (Vladimir, Vsevolod and Mstislav ) against the Cumans who had frequently pillaged the Chernigov lands, and he placed Igor Svyatoslavich (his cousin) in command of the campaign.
