- Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum. Centro. What is it? The late Baron Hans-Heinrich Thyssen-Bornemisza’s private collection of 775 paintings. It’s housed in an early-19th-century palace that was superbly reconverted by architect Rafael Moneo from 1989 to 1992.
