Standards for the Preparation of Teachers of Integrated Science–Secondary, adopted by the State Board of Education (SBE) in 2002, to determine whether they provided adequate guidance to prepare teachers to support students in the 5-9 and 7-12 grade bands in achieving the Michigan K-12 Science Standards.
