  2. The best trucker subreddit out there. My time at Schneider needs to end.... As the title suggests, I am done with Schneider and their horrible $.41 a mile and 300 mile loads. I just can't pay off both my bills and the debt that I have accumulated from when I broke my arm 1 year ago. I need to be able to clear $1500 a week minimum to even make ...

We should be getting paid a minimum of 1$ a mile as a company driver. 5$ as a owner op. However so many of my fellow truckers are so brain dead stupid that they don't want better pay ...

  4. ADMIN MOD. What's going on with Schneider? They abandoned a trailer in front of our loading dock (they had no business with us at all) and we had to get it towed. The impound lot says they are repeat customers. A week later they have a truck and trailer abandoned at a vacant lot, and now I see a jackknifed truck and trailer at a construction site.

Working shoes and vests are mandatory at Schneider locations. This can be also at some distribution centers, which have Schneider offices. Also customers require it anyway.

  6. In a hypothetical situation where trucks stopped operating, many critical industries will be affected within the first 1-2 days. These include: food, healthcare, transportation, retail, manufacturing, waste removal, and banking. Grocery stores will run out of food, hospitals will exhaust their medical supplies, and gas stations will be unable ...
