Since then, we have visited Spain several times with children, covering everywhere from Barcelona to Málaga to Sevilla. Madrid is one of the most vibrant European cities, and any family trip to Spain needs to include visit. Here are some of our favorite place...

    There are many Spanish cities that are easy to access as day trips from Madrid.Some of our favorites include: Segovia, Toledo, Salamanca, Parque Warner, and Ávila.

    • Avila. Avila is the capital and the most populated municipality of the Avila province. The city is known for its infamous medieval walls known as the Town of Stones and Saints, built by Roman architects back in the day.
