Krakow Main Train Station (Krakow Glowny) sits in the very heart of Krakow Old Town, just a stone’s throw from the Main Market Square.
On foot from Kraków Glówny train station (10m-30m): Kraków’s main train station is practically across the road from the Old Town. However, the journey will depend which part of the area you are trying to get to – the northern end is a 10-minute walk, but it will take 30 minutes to reach the southern end.
This is a vey busy station that is attached to a large shopping centre. If you are planning to travel by train from this station I would advise allowing plenty of time to purchase tickets. There are very few ticket machines in the station itself and the queues for the ticket booths are long.
