Free Fire is an action battle royale game developed by Garena and is one of the more popular mobile battle royale games on the market. For those who want to take their pro-FPS skills on the go in a more handheld manner, Free Fire is here for you. This Free Fire maps guide is here to help you familiarize yourself with the numerous battlefields you’ll come across while playing the game. There are six Free Fire maps in the game, each with its own unique layout and landmarks.

Bermuda is the first map created for Free Fire and is the classic map. While there is a remastered version of the map currently available in the game, Bermuda is the one and only classic map and the preferred version for many players. This is the map you’ll likely be seeing the most as a new player in Free Fire.

There is a remastered version of this map known as Bermuda Remastered. This map adjusts the terrain and removes some prior landmarks.

Purgatory is the second Free Fire map and can be identified by its more “countryside” vibe, with unique landmarks such as a Golf Course, Campsite, or even a Ski Lodge. There’s a sizable river that cuts through the middle of the map, separating it into thirds. There are 14 different locations on this map.

Kalahari is the third Free Fire map, immediately recognizable by its more sandy appearance. There’s also a decent amount of buildings, trees, valleys, and rocks to hide behind thanks to the map’s more desert-like setting, giving players a map where cover and taking vantage points are more important. There are 13 different locations on this map.

Bermuda is the original map of Free Fire, but the creators decided to give the map a bit of a modern reworking with a full remaster of the classic map. The Remastered version of this map cuts a bit of the map’s original locations while adding a bit of its own.

Alpine is the fourth map of Free Fire, with a bit of a frostier appearance. Alpine has 16 different locations, making it one of the larger maps in the game. As such, Alpine possesses a greater amount of loot to find, lots of new landmarks and structures, and a hillier terrain that you'll need to navigate.

Nexterra takes place well in the future, with a huge futuristic map to explore with plenty of locations to drop into and scavenge for loot.
