If you repeatedly square the result and slice out the middle digits, you’ll have a sequence of numbers that exhibit the statistical properties of randomness.
I assume it was at some later point that we decided to give each of those years a unique identifier (e.g. number) to help keep track of things. My questions is: when was that "later point"? When did we start "numbering" the years to keep track of them? Who did it first?

Permalink. Josh Ackerman. jms_79 13 March 2002. The Random Years is a great show! The main reason I love it so much is because of Josh Ackerman, who plays Wiseman. Josh was on the Mickey Mouse Club (MMC) the entire time it was on and he was my favorite on that show as well. When I heard he was gonna be on a new show, I had to watch it.
