Eric II of Pomerania-Wolgast and successor of Bogislaw IX in Pomerania-Stolp again allied with Jogaila and his son and successor Casimir IV in his Thirteen Years' War against the Teutonic Knights. On 3 January 1455 he in turn was granted the Lauenburg and Bütow Land at the Pomerelian frontier.
