XIA YU YAO (Traditional Chinese: 夏語遙; Simplified Chinese: 夏语遥), also referred to as YAO for Synthesizer V, is a Mandarin Chinese vocal developed and distributed by VOICEMITH, a planning team under E-CAPSULE Co. Ltd., and released as an AI voice database for Synthesizer V Studio in January 2023.
I'm really excited for Asterian's! I can't wait to have another masculine Lite VB, and I'm curious how it'll turn out as a Lite. I'm not against Xia Yu Yao's either, since the majority of Lites I have are Japanese. Solaria's Lite came out about 2 months after her full voicebank, and I recall Eclipsed Sounds implying the wait would be similar.
XIA YU YAO, alternatively known as YAO AI, is a feminine Mandarin Chinese voice database with a Taiwanese accent based on the singing style of Mi Yang. As expected of an AI voice database, this enables her to sing with a more human-like, natural, and realistic voice.
Her full version was released on January 30, 2023 as physical and digital copies. A Lite version was planned to be in production. In response to a fan on February 23, 2023. VOICEMITH stated that the Lite version of XIA YU YAO would not be released. No additional information was provided.
