I find that the problem most people have to do with this film has more to do with the style Peter Joseph uses rather than the substance. Yes, the film has scientific research at its' core, but the goal of the film has a social aim, and the intended audience is just as much for people already "in" and "in support" of the movement as much as it is for informational purposes.
The first movie has gotten "debunked" (ie, some people have found factual errors and nit-picked them unto death), Addendum has gotten some nitpick treatment as well and I'm sure Moving Forward will too... which doesn't invalidate the concept of a resource-based economy or the fact that money is literally destroying the world and killing mankind.

This film takes Zeitgeist firmly away from conspiracy theorists, Zionists, 9/11 truthers and all the rest, arguing that they are focused on the symptoms of the world's problems, not the underlying cause. They also offer no answers. Amazingly, Zeitgeist Moving Forward does.

Take the unhinged reviews with a grain of salt. A very large grain of delusional, echo-chambery salt. It'd be scary how detatched some people are from reality if it wasn't so easy to laugh.
