is the first 360 film created using 360 film techniques and 360-degree cameras. It was first shot in 1955 and ran in Disney Circle-Vision 360 film theaters.
Circle-Vision 360 is a film technique that uses multiple cameras arranged in a circle. The viewing image is display on a large circular screen. The film's rendition of the title song would later be used in Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln.
As the first film of its kind, all nine cameras showed rather interesting sights, such as:
•Cattle jumping each other
•Tissues blowing across the Battle of Gettysburg
•A man tripping and falling, then getting back up and looking around sheepishly, hoping no one saw him
"America the Beautiful" is a patriotic American song. Its lyrics were written by Katharine Lee Bates and its music was composed by church organist and choirmaster Samuel A. Ward at Grace Episcopal Church in Newark, New Jersey. The two never met. Bates wrote the words as a poem, originally entitled "Pikes Peak".

Magic Kingdom. America the Beautiful. Opening in November of 1971, America the Beautiful was the first of the Circle-Vision 360° films at Walt Disney World. The film was originally shot for the 1958 World’s Fair in Brussels and then was brought to Disneyland in 1960.
