Angela Besharah (born 12 August 1977; age 46) is an actress who played Thandie in the Star Trek: Strange New Worlds first season episode "Memento Mori".
She is of Lebanese, British, and German descent. She started her career as a ballet dancer at age 4, and continued her dance career into her teens. As a teenager, she played double bass and was a member of the Ottawa Youth Orchestra.
At age 15, she was discovered by a model scout which turned her towards modeling. She appeared in several advertising campaigns internationally in the following years.
She originally enrolled at The University of Toronto for environmental science, but changed to the theatre program in her second year. Her first screen role upon graduation was a guest spot in the series Mutant X in 2002.
