The August Horch Museum Zwickau is an automobile museum in Zwickau, Saxony, Germany.Opened in 2004, it covers the history of automobile construction in Zwickau, the early history of Horch and Audi; their eventual incorporation into Auto Union in 1932, and ending with the company's relocation to Ingolstadt after World War II - from where the modern-day Audi company evolved.

This is a mecca for all car fans and particularly those fans of German cars. The history of various marques is followed clearly and the individual people are featured to give the human side to the visit. Towards the end of the museum there is a reference to the town of Zwickau and it's more recent car manufacture.
The mansion - right next to the main entrance of the museum - was built between 1910 and 1912. Its first residents were August Horch and his family. In 2005, the mansion could be opened to the public after comprehensive reconstruction works. Furnished with antiques in Art Nouveau style the mansion offers an ambiente of its time.
