The Anzac Memorial is a heritage-listed war memorial, museum and monument located in Hyde Park South near Liverpool Street in the CBD of Sydney, Australia. The Art Deco monument was designed by C. Bruce Dellit , with the exterior adorned with monumental figural reliefs and sculptures by Rayner Hoff , and built from 1932 to 1934 by Kell & Rigby .
Our schools program is on offer to primary students from Stage 2 (years 3 & 4) and Stage 3 (years 5 & 6). It is predominantly focussed on aspects of the history curriculum, but in creative ways that also include elements of the Art, Drama and English syllabus.

O’Connell ANZAC Memorial Avenue and associated buildings are listed on the National Trust Register of Australia (NSW). The Memorial Avenue is listed on the NSW War Memorials Register and has state and national recognition.
Self-guided schools are required to make a booking so that the Memorial can avoid overcrowding and coordinate self-guided visits with existing school bookings. Please note that priority is always given to schools attending for educator-led programs.
