William Andrew Jones (February 18, 1907 – March 5, 1974), better known as Billy De Wolfe, was an American character actor. He was active in films from the mid-1940s until his death in 1974. De Wolfe's closeted homosexuality has been discussed by John Gielgud ,[6] author David Kaufman,[7] and The Advocate.[8]
