May 19, 2023 · Blackwood Farm Park. After a renovation project that took more than a year, Blackwood Farm Park reopened to the public on Friday, May 19, 2023. The renovation includes more parking, a new entrance off NC 86, a large picnic shelter, a park operations building and an amphitheater.

Feb 15, 2017 · Nice, large county park in Orange County between Chapel Hill & Hillsborough. Feb 2017 • Solo. This is a large tract of land most recentlyhome to the Blackwood family farm. The original farmhouse and outbuildings are well preserved and available for tours.
