The Lost Volcano is a 1950 American adventure film. It was the third in the 12-film Bomba, the Jungle Boy series, based on the Bomba series of juvenile adventure books.
The boy (Tommy Ivo), and his female companion (Elena Verdugo) are soon kidnapped by a pair of crooked jungle guides, searching for a lost city's treasure, known about by the boy. it's up to Bomba to save the day.
In the African jungle, Bomba, a young white man reared in the wild, comes across the camp of zoologist Paul Gordon and releases all the animals from their bamboo cages. The natives tell Paul that Bomba freed the animals, but Paul dismisses the legendary jungle boy as a myth.
