    Main Article: Series 1 Auditions The auditionsfor Series 1 were filmed between January and February 2007 in Manchester, Cardiff, Birmingham and London. Five episodes of auditions were aired between the 9th June and the 13th June.

    24 acts from the auditions were chosen to perform in the Semi-Finals, the acts being revealed at the end of the second roundon the 13th June.

    The audience would vote for the best act, whilst the judges voted between the acts with the 2nd and 3rd most votes. However, Kit Kat Dolls and Richard Bates were both disqualified, which resulted in both acts being replaced by comedian Jake Pratt & beat box group Crew 82respectively.
