  3. Located on Broadhall Way, it has been the home of Stevenage FC since 1980. The stadium comprises of four stands as described below. West Stand: The West Stand is an all-seater stand which holds 1,800 fans as well as housing our executive hospitality boxes, press areas, tunnel and of course changing rooms.

  5. Feb 10, 2023 · First opened in 1961, it would first provide Stevenage Town with a new home up the road from London Road. Back then, of course, it wasn’t known as the Lamex. We’re unable to say for sure what it was called back then. But we’re going to go with Broadhall Way because, well, it’s the name by which many of us still know the place.

  6. The Lamex Stadium, also known as Broadhall Way, was built in 1961 and first served as the home of Stevenage Town and next of their successor Stevenage Athletic. Following the bankruptcy of the latter in 1976, the stadium was left unused until in 1980 newly formed Stevenage FC (then still called Stevenage Borough) made the stadium their home.
