Our list of amenities continues to grow as we work each day to revitalize this previously deteriorated industrial space and build a park that allows New Yorkers to rediscover the waterfront.
Apr 25, 2024 · APRIL 25, 2024 – Brooklyn Bridge Park (BBP) and Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy (Conservancy) announce their 2024 season line-up of free and low-cost arts and culture, fitness, recreation, environmental education, and volunteer opportunities from May through October.
The Conservancy’s education program is dedicated to teaching people of all ages and backgrounds about Brooklyn Bridge Park’s unique built and natural environment. Using the Park as a living laboratory, we offer interactive hands-on lessons that inspire stewardship and life-long learning.
The area that is today Brooklyn Bridge Park was, at different times in its history, a site of bustling commerce, a transportation terminal, an entry point for immigrants, an artistic and activist center, and finally, a world-class park visited by millions every year.

The Brooklyn Bridge Park Corporation, known as Brooklyn Bridge Park (BBP), is the non‐profit organization that plans, builds, maintains, and operates Brooklyn Bridge Park, an 85‐acre sustainable waterfront park stretching 1.3 miles along Brooklyn’s East River shoreline.

May 17, 2021 · Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy, in partnership with Big City Volleyball, will welcome back Volleyball Leagues this May through October. The league is 6v6, with games on Wednesday and Thursday evenings and tournaments on select Saturdays.
