He's also got intimidating cleanup potential thanks to the extended duration on his ultimate when he scores a kill or assist.

Playing As Master Yi\t
•If you're laning against ranged players, ranking up Meditate can allow you to stay in lane longer and gain levels faster than they will.
•Wuju Style is very strong early for last hitting minions, but you will be vulnerable when it is on cooldown, so only use it to last hit when you are under your turret, or when you know that there are no enemy champions nearby.
•Try using Alpha Strike on an enemy minion in front of an enemy champion so you are placed at a safe distance at the end of the ability.

•Meditate is an effective method of healing damage over time, but Master Yi is susceptible to coordinated team ganks early in the game.

•Double Strike
•When using double strike, the second strike of the passive cannot be interrupted. This allows you to use another skill (Alpha Strike, Meditate, Flash, and etc) while the animation of your double strike goes off.
•Alpha Strike
•Do not use your Alpha Strike instantly if you don't have to! Save it for when the enemy has used his escape abilities and/or flash, and to dodge crucial abilities, such as high-damage ultimates and Crowd Control abilities.
•When tower diving, make sure you have, or will have enemy minions around, as well as friendly ones under the turret, to use your Alpha Strike and lose turret aggro.

Jan 12, 2022 · If you're about to be burst down, use Meditate to reduce the incoming damage. When you score a takedown (kill or assist), the passive of Highlander reduces the cooldown of your other abilities by a significant amount. Alpha Strike can crit, and with good timing allows you to dodge abilities.
Your ultimate, Highlander, allows you to chase down enemies and reset on kills/assists. Master Yi - Advice on Farming: Use Alpha Strike (Q) to clear jungle camps quickly. Meditate (W) can be used to reset auto-attacks and tank some damage from camps. Team Fights as Master Yi: Wait for major crowd control abilities to be used before engaging.
