Coming Clean was founded in 2001 by environmental health and environmental justice organizers to unite our movements. We know that a more holistic and effective approach to protecting our health and safety exists, and we're striving to realize it.

How we organize: Our 7 teams hold regular virtual meetings to collaborate on campaigns, research, policy and grassroots capacity building. The Coming Clean network also convenes monthly to discuss cross-cutting issues and opportunities for broader alignment among environmental health and justice organizations who share our goals.
