- CSS. If HTML defines the content of your webpage, Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) is used for defining the look of each HTML element. All of the different frames you see on a web page, including text boxes, background images, and menus, are coded in CSS.
- JavaScript. Since HTML and CSS can’t directly incorporate conditional statements and other decision-making functions, they aren’t considered complete programming languages.
