The driveshaft (top), mainshaft (middle), and pinion shaft (bottom) all terminate into bearings that are housed in the end case.
Mar 14, 2015 · Troops -- I bought a 2009 Carrera S with PDK in May 2013. Prior owner had it 41/2 years; it now has 61/4 years and 41,000 miles. Prior owner sold it with a 3 year transferable Fidelity Platinum after-market warrranty, so I've got 1+ years remaining. Always dearler serviced, no mechanical problems...
On 991/981’s PDKs with the locking differential option there is also a third pressure in this same area, the 997/987 PDKs don’t have this third sensor. The PN is 9G1.307.385.05 and it does appear in 997.2 PDK parts lists but the location is not shown in the parts diagrams.
Nov 4, 2022 · Does anyone have any experience on how much a pdk gearbox replacement would be on a 997.2 Carrera S. 2008 car model year 2009. Im looking at purchasing, have had a pre-purchase inspection and the finding is still inconclusive.

However, Porsche Turbos of any generation are known for producing and handling enormous power numbers thanks to their engineering. Once the cars get to half-mile and full-mile roll race power, the PDKs begin to struggle.
