  2. Jan 2, 2015 · If you do not increase the tire size then no you do not need a lift. A lift is only to allow for larger tires, increased clearance under the truck or for looks depending on what your needs/desires are. Leveling typically adds a 1.5" - 2" spacer to the front of the truck to lift the front. This levels the truck for a better stance.

  4. Jan 25, 2021 · I put 275/70/18 General Grabber X3s on my 2019 Tundra DC 4x4 with bilsteins all around with 2.5" lift in front. Tires rubbed a little so had to take off front mud flaps, loosen the bumper and they only just slightly rub when turned all the way and reversing.

  6. Mar 10, 2016 · #1 · Mar 11, 2016. Hey y'all... So, I bought a 2014 Tundra CrewMax, and it came with aftermarket wheels and tires. The tire/wheel size is 285/55/20. I want to put a 6" lift kit on it, but have heard I would need to get bigger tires, and maybe wheels in order to keep it safe and balanced. Any suggestions on this?
