  4. He does have a slightly strong side to his personality. If I was a theist it would feel "aggressive" to me. I'm on his side so it strikes me as "endearing" in an open, no BS sort of way. To be fair, he talks about an emotionally sensitive subject and in a plain manner. That is going to get him labeled as offensive no matter what he does.
