Apr 12, 2024 · The A380 is a quieter aircraft than the 777, and has the option of either upper or lower deck seating in CW (these are still large cabins with a lot of seats, total number of CW seats on a BA A380 is 97). Personally in business class I'd take a 777 with Club Suites over an A380 with old CW, even though I prefer the A380 as an aircraft.
Bought business class from American Airlines. Flights AA138 (HKG - DFW) and AA963 (DFW - GRU), on august/2014. It costed twice what the cattle class ticket would cost. About $ 5K. Justifiable amount, in my opinion. The cool part is that, according to the tickets information, I'll be flying the 777-300ER, both legs.
Just flew international business class with United on the newly configured 777. We had seats 10J & H and they were really bad - they face backwards and look directly into the economy cabin. There was no privacy and you experience all the noise and light from the economy cabin.
We are flying the 777-200 from DFW to LHR and the 777-300er back both in business, We are in the mini cabin coming home so will see if it is worth it. I have found a website Flyertalk.com forum which gives actual experiences with the 777-300.
