"Don't Open Till Christmas" is a festive holiday slasher film from director Edmund Purdom. It essentially goes down the road of many other slasher builds, but in the spirit of the holidays, the crazed killer sets forward their attacks on the varied Santas that frequent the streets that time of year.

Chestnuts weren’t the only thing roasting over an open fire…Santa’s face was as well. You’d think, with all the Santa murders reported in the paper, that job would be a bit harder to employ. But, not in 1984 London.
The story -- which is supposed to unfold three days before Christmas, though it feels much longer -- follows the rather lame attempts by Scotland Yard officials to catch a deranged killer with an insatiable desire to violently murder people dressed like Santa Clause.
