Edward Laurence Albert [1] (February 20, 1951 – September 22, 2006) was an American actor. [2] The son of actor Eddie Albert and Mexican actress Margo, he starred opposite Goldie Hawn in Butterflies Are Free (1972), a role for which he won a Golden Globe Award for New Star of the Year.
Edward Albert, the son of Green Acres star Eddie Albert and the godson of Laurence Olivier, passed away in 2006 at 55. He was known for his role in Butterflies Are Free and his environmental and native American causes.
Edward Albert (1951-2006) was an actor, singer, songwriter and environmentalist who starred in Butterflies Are Free (1972) and Beauty and the Beast (1987). He was the only son of Green Acres star Eddie Albert and Mexican actress Margo, and he died of lung cancer at 55.
