Muralist, Painter, Educator. This site provides access to the papers of Emanuel Martinez in the Archives of American Art that were digitized in 2023, and total 10,690 images. The processing of this collection received Federal support from the Latino Initiatives Pool, administered by the Smithsonian Latino Center.
This collection consists of material collected by the Chicano artist Emanuel Martinez during his expansive career. As a muralist, painter, and sculptor, Martinez achieved international acclaim.
