  2. The Euro 7 emission standards regulation replaces the previously separate regulations for light- and heavy-duty vehicles. It sets new rules for passenger transport vehicles of categories M1, M2 and M3, for vehicles for carrying goods of categories N1, N2 and N3, as well as for trailers of categories O3 and O4.4.

  3. There are common design criteria for emission control systems to handle the variation in real-world emissions across the different applications. Euro 7/VII should ensure these criteria are equally important for all applications, despite differences in procedures or emissions metrics.

  4. May 2, 2023 · ACEA Euro 7 fact sheet # 6 (May 2023) The European auto industry needs proper lead time to develop and implement emission reduction technologies in new vehicles. In its current form, the Euro 7 proposal contains unrealistic timelines from an engineering point of view.

  5. These emission reductions are expected to be achieved with existing technologies. A moderate impact on the costs of cars - between €90 and €150 - and on the cost of buses and lorries - around €2600 - is expected. Lower emissions by 2035 compared to Euro6/VI. Reduction of NOx emissions.

  6. Demonstrators show ultra-low pollutant emissions with emission control technologies in an integrated approach. Tests show compatibility with drop-in sustainable renewable fuels, with substantial reduction in Well-to-Wheel CO2 emissions. Automotive Grade Urea Sector Group.
