Fairview is a census-designated place (CDP) in Buncombe County, North Carolina, United States. The population was 2,678 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Asheville Metropolitan Statistical Area.
- Hickory Nut Gap Farm. For over 100 years, the family that runs Hickory Nut Gap Farm has made their mark on this area, and these days, they are known for their high-quality meats and their beautiful farm.
- Flying Cloud Farm. While Hickory Nut Gap is known for their livestock, Flying Cloud Farm in Fairview is known for beautiful and organically grown produce and flowers.
- WNC Nature Center. While not technically in Fairview, you’re just a bit away from the Western North Carolina Nature Center, which is a wonderful option for a morning or afternoon out if you’re traveling with small children.
