  1. Dec 7, 2021 · To remove Yahoo search from Chrome, go to Settings > Search Engine > Manage Search Engines. Set a different search engine like Google or DuckDuckGo as the default, and in the options for Yahoo, click "Remove From List" to delete it from Chrome entirely.

    • Change the Default Search Engine. You might be able to undo any unauthorized changes to Chrome’s default settings by manually selecting a different search engine.

  2. To see your current Yahoo Search, you need to be signed into your Yahoo account. Once on the history page, you'll find tools to delete, clear all, or turn off the search history.

    • Desktop: Visit "search.yahoo.com/history". You can also perform a Yahoo! search, hover over the Gear icon in the upper-right corner, and select "Search History".
    • Mobile: Log into "yahoo.com" with the Yahoo! account that you want to delete history for. This isn't strictly necessary; if you're not logged in you'll see all the searches you made while not logged into your account.
