Glebe Collegiate Institute (GCI) is a high school in the Glebe neighbourhood of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Administered by the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board (OCDSB), Glebe Collegiate Institute has approximately 1,700 students and is the district's largest school.
Apr 15, 2022 · Glebe Collegiate is home to quite a few notable alumni, such as Peter Mansbridge, a former CBC news anchor, Alanis Morisette, a seven-time Grammy award-winning singer, and Patrick Watson, a director, among other things, who created the Heritage Minutes that many of us are so familiar with.
This September marks the 100th anniversary of Glebe Collegiate Institute (GCI). The school has been home to more than 40,000 students and 3,000 teachers since it first opened in September 1922. It is a fixture of the Glebe community.
Dec 4, 2019 · Plans are underway for celebrating Glebe Collegiate’s 100th anniversary in 2022-23. Glebe school council is seeking input from the community and alumni for ideas to mark the special occasion. We are holding a brainstorming session on February 6 at 7 p.m. Spread the word and come on out and join us.
