Jul 21, 2020 · I just picked up my new Model 34 Gen 5 and found the trigger pull weight very disappointing. I measured it with my Lyman digital gauge and my RCBS gauge and it is running between 6.75 and 7.25 pounds. I was hoping for at least a 5 pound trigger pull or ideally 4.5.
The following table shows how you can configure each connector option using the OEM springs from your factory trigger to achieve a different pull weight. Pull weight isn't the only thing to consider. The pre-travel weight to where the trigger hits the wall and travel distance plays an important role in how you interface to the trigger as well.

Dec 26, 2018 · If you want to get metrics involved, then just say the trigger has a 2.5 kilo pull, which = 5.5lbs of pull. IOW, it take 2.5 kilos to pull and break the trigger of a Glock. Trigger pull weight is usually tested at a pretty slow rate...not conducive to a 'newton'.
