Harlan Briggs is a main character on the Paramount+ original supernatural drama, Wolf Pack. He is portrayed by Tyler Lawrence Gray.

Harlan and his fraternal twin sister Luna were adopted by Garrett eighteen years ago after a mysterious wildfire.

    Early life

Harlan, much like his sister Luna, was born a werewolf. Since adolescence, they've always believed that they were abandoned by their biological father shortly after birth. Fortunately, in the wake of an unusually gruesome forest fire, they were discovered and adopted by Garrett, who initially believed them to be stray wolf cubs due to being in wolf form when he found them. Although Harlan cares for Garrett, he never completely accepted him as his father, and has always yearned to meet his biological family. Harlan is openly gay and makes no effort to hide it from Luna, indicating that he came out to his family. He drew Phoebe's resentment when he slept with her ex-boyfriend.

    Forming a pack

Harlan is dancing at a nightclub and hooking up with the DJ when Luna arrives and asks for his help to find their possibly missing father, but Harlan is doubtful he's missing and says that he's not even their real father, a sentiment that he instantly regrets. Notably, their abilities seem to be more heightened than they had ever been before, and when Luna gets word that his truck was found damaged, the two of them make their way to the scene, where they discover that a large set of claws destroyed the driver's side of his park ranger vehicle, leading them to suspect that perhaps their real father has returned. But with Garrett still missing, they continue the search, even with the fire overwhelming their abilities. Suddenly, Harlan and Luna's eyes roll into the back of their heads, and they feel themselves being drawn to a clearing, where they come across Everett and Blake, revealing to them that they're werewolves. Harlan and Luna drive Everett and Blake home. Whilst he's reluctant to answer any of Everett's questions, Luna is more open. Much like the twins, they heard a howl that drew them to the clearing. Once home, they are questioned by Prisha, though they insist they don't know why Everett and Blake were in the woods. After she leaves, Harlan and Luna argue if they should help Everett and Blake, with Harlan claiming it's not their problem. A couple of days later, Luna plans to go after their father herself, but Harlan takes the car keys and goes to the gym, where he begins to hallucinate and lose focus. And so, he leaves the gym, and some time after gets word that their father has been found. He and Luna race to the hospital, where Garrett is being wheeled in, though they are then approached by Officer Jang for questioning. Harlan, Luna, Everett, and Blake are brought in for questioning, at which point, Harlan comes up with a lie to tell the investigators. While in the interrogation room, Harlan discovers that the others have somehow acquired his hearing ability, which he uses to coach Everett through the interrogation, at least until he is assaulted by Officer Miller, who backs off after their father arrives to bring them home. Once home, they further discuss what to do about Blake and Everett, which is put on hold when their father leaves to assist Phoebe. Shortly after he leaves, Officer Miller arrives, claiming that he only came to talk, but when Harlan goes out of the porch, he slams Harlan's face against the wall, at which point, the werewolf attacks Miller. Harlan rushes back inside, where their dad instructs them to get the rifle from the barn. Along with the rifle, they find silver bullets, which Harlan uses to chase the werewolf off after it confronts Everett. They then confront their father, who confesses to crafting the silver bullets to kill them.

    Hooking up with Cyrus

Frustrated with his father for crafting silver bullets to kill them, Harlan decides to go to the club, where he makes eye contact with Cyrus. The following day, as he and Luna recount the night in the woods with Blake and Everett, they realize that the latter must be suffering from another anxiety attack as Harlan's hand begins to shake whilst Luna's heart races. They find Everett in the bathroom, where a fight erupts between him and Harlan, causing Harlan to accidentally bare his fangs, which frightens not only him, but the rest of the pack as well, resulting in them parting ways. That night, Harlan returns to the club, and this time he approaches Cyrus, who he kisses while getting high in a decommissioned fire truck in the center of the club. Harlan, along with Luna, comes running to the parking garage where Blake works, seconds after Everett explained that he'd come because he had heard her scream Danny's name. They confirm that they'd also heard her scream. Luna explains that she hadn't screamed, she had "howled" for them. Harlan and Luna meet with Blake and Everett to discuss the werewolf and how they believe it is protecting them, which the unknown caller later confirms before dropping them the location of the latest attack, where they fail to save Nurse Hughes from death. It is then that they decide to stop the werewolf before its next attack, which they discover will be at Tia's house, though in order to get in, Harlan first has to score some drugs. While at the gym to buy from Cody, he and Everett lift weights and discuss their shared abilities, as well as the fact that Harlan believes to have seen his real father in the woods once before when he was 12. That night, the pack attends the party, where an exchange between Harlan and Cyrus leads him to suspect that his new friend may be the unknown caller. Harlan and Cyrus venture out into the woods to find the missing blond-haired kid. They kiss and discuss how Harlan's "pack" may feel threatened by Cyrus, who has a close encounter with the werewolf. Fortunately, Investigator Ramsey arrives and instructs the kids to run before opening fire. Harlan then takes Cyrus to the barn to hide out after learning that the police are looking for him as they suspect he's the arsonist. Harlan questions why his phone is set to No Caller ID and if he started the fire, listening to Cyrus' steady heartbeat as he answers the questions, suggesting that he's telling the truth. The following day, he convenes with the pack and shares what he learned from Cyrus, which leads them to Malcolm, the only survivor from the hotshot crew that died in the fire. From him, Harlan and Luna learn that their mother was killed by the hotshot crew and that their father killed the crew in retaliation. Unfortunately, by the time they return home, Garrett has turned Cyrus over to Ramsey, which infuriates Harlan, who punches Garrett and transforms, triggering similar responses in the rest of the pack. However, Garrett manages to get control of the situation before revealing that it's not their biological father whose killing people, rather it's their brother. Harlan and Everett devise a plan to trap the werewolf by luring it to the freezer, where they will bring it to the point of death, resulting in Baron returning to his human form, who they will then resuscitate. Harlan proposes they use the medical freezer at the hospital. And so, that night, they use Austin as bait to lure the werewolf to the freezer. The plan goes as discussed, and Baron returns to human form. However, Austin takes it upon himself to stab Baron with a silver coated knife. The pack takes Baron to Everett's house to rest after removing the silver-coated knife. There, Harlan has a panic attack. The next day, he and Luna are taken to the police station for questioning. But first, Ramsey allows Harlan fives minutes alone with Cyrus, who he promises his freedom. As they're leaving the station, Luna reveals that she could hear Harlan's conversation due to the white noise machine in the room and that she believes Ramsey was aware of this as well. Harlan and Luna then find and listen to the recording their father made when he was trapped in the fire, bringing tears to their eyes and leading them to tell him the truth about Baron. With their father, they return to Everett's to pick up Baron and take him to the hospital, where Harlan discovers the truth about Malcolm and is then arrested for Officer Miller's murder.

Harlan is a born werewolf who has remarkably powerful hearing.
