1 Answer. Sorted by: 8. Stop the torrent. Create the new location (eg. C:\Downloads) Copy/move files from original location (eg. C:\Users\Joseph\Downloads) to new location. Right click torrent in uTorrent > 'Advanced' > 'Set Download Location...' > select the new location. Right click again > 'Force Re-Check'

Oct 24, 2022 · To do this, tap on the hamburger menu icon, then tap on Settings, tap on the "change" option next to Default Download Folder, choose the folder of your preference then finally tap on OK. When you download new torrents, they will download to this new default location.
