- Mile Rock Lighthouse. Next up, from the viewpoint, be sure also to look out at the Mile Rock Lighthouse, or what is left of it, in the water in front of you.
Trails at Lands End offer a cliff-top walk through dark cypress and open grass and 30-mile views up and down the California coast. This is the wildest, rockiest corner of San Francisco. A corner strewn with shipwrecks and a history of landslides.
Entrances to the trail are at both the Visitor Center parking Lot just up from Cliff House or in the Sea Cliff neighborhood off of El Camino del Mar (near the Lincoln Golf Course and Legion of Honor).
